The Artists on Film Trust is the first national collection of footage on artists at work and in conversation. Some of these films have not been seen for nearly a hundred years, most having been locked away in archives and private collections. The material constitutes a major contribution to our understanding of modern art, and the films are in many cases lively and accomplished pieces of work in their own right.

The process of digitizing and restoring important films will take place over the next few years.

Artists on Film will continue to run lecture series at the Courtauld, Prince of Wales Drawing School and other institutions. All events and the progress of the collection will be posted here so please check regularly for updates.
